Project 1: Instructable poster

So for this exercise, we were tasked to make some poster, and for this project we need to pick 1 videos from the pasta grannies YouTube channel, and after we picked the video, we need to break down the video and turn it into a poster. So below are the video that i picked.

After I picked the video, Next I can move on to create the poster, and before doing it I decided to search for some reference on Pinterest.

I decided to follow the same layout as the reference that i found on pinterest which is the zigzag layout, personally i think that the goal of this project is to create a poster that is easy to understand, and so i think going with the zigzag layout is a great idea.

For the color palette itself, I decided to use a calm brown and I think this color palette fits the theme because the show itself is about grannies making a pasta and since the menu that i picked is a Mac and Cheese the slightly bright brown is the perfect color for the main typography.

After that, I created all the steps for the cooking itself and used the zig-zag layout while doing so. By the way I decided to add some explanation about the dish itself next to the title to make it perfectly balanced with the left side of the poster.

After I've finished all the steps, I added some details such as the white steam on top of the mac and cheese.

And Below are the final outcome of the poster:

Final Project:

For out final project we need to make an instrutable infographic poster, in other words its basically a continuation from our project 1 final poster, and the main goal of this final project is to basically turn out final poster into a 60 seconds video. This final project was done in pair.

For this motion graphics project, I wanted to create a visual style that felt as fluid and inviting as the dish itself. I decided to move away from a static grid and instead implemented a layered, flowing wave aesthetic. Using bold, organic shapes in the background, I’ve created a sense of motion even before the animation begins, guiding the viewer's eye across the composition.

And to keep the project manageable despite the high layer count, I’ve utilized a parenting hierarchy with Null Objects. This allows me to control the movement of multiple ingredients and text elements simultaneously.

For this segment, I transitioned to a top-down, flat-lay perspective against a striking, bold red background. This vivid color choice instantly highlights the heat and action of the cooking process, focusing the viewer's attention directly on the simmering pot. To handle the intricate choreography of the ingredients and instructional text, I built a complex parenting hierarchy using multiple Null Objects. By carefully adjusting keyframes for position, scale, rotation, and opacity, I ensured that the technical cooking steps flow smoothly alongside the visuals, keeping the information engaging and perfectly clear.

And after I've done all the steps below are the final results of the video:
